PART 2 THE SEVENTH CORRIDOR

CHAPTER 11 — A ROOM THAT REARRANGES ITSELF

Darkness.

Raina opened her eyes. She was lying on the cold floor. Beside her, Ferdi gasped for breath, clutching a cracked camera like a lifeline.

“Raina… you’re awake?”

“I’m alive… I think,” she whispered.

Ferdi pointed behind her with trembling hands.
“This room… it changed. While you were out. It wasn’t like this.”

The Isolation Room had stretched itself into a long, narrow hallway. The floor glistened like it had just been washed—too clean, too wet.

Raina stood shakily.
“This hospital… it’s reacting to us.”

Far down the corridor, something metal clanged softly.

Clang… clang… clang…

Ferdi raised the camera. “What the hell was that?”

Raina stared at the darkness.
“Something that wants us to follow.”

Or something that wanted them inside for good.

CHAPTER 12 — THE NURSE IN RED

They walked deeper. The walls subtly changed color… from moldy white… to fleshy pink… to deep, blood-slick red.

Ferdi swore. “We’re not in a hospital. We’re in a damn organism!”

Raina didn’t respond—because she saw her.

A woman stood in the center of the corridor.

A nurse.

But her uniform wasn’t white.
It was red—stained, dripping, almost alive.

Her face was distorted yet clearer than the faceless nurse before.

She smiled, soft and motherly.

“Raina… you’ve finally returned.”

Raina’s voice cracked. “Who are you?”

The Red Nurse moved with eerie grace.

“I’m someone who failed to escape.
One of the many casualties of Experiment Seven.”

Ferdi whispered, “Casualties of WHAT?”

The nurse pointed toward the warped wall behind her.

Images flickered into view—like holograms: doctors strapping patients down, injecting them, draining them.

“You two are not regular visitors,” she said.
“You were summoned. Because the entity has a bond with your bloodline.”

Raina’s pupils shrank.

“What do you mean?”

The nurse smiled sadly.

“Subject Zero… your sister… was the first.”

CHAPTER 13 — THE TRUTH ABOUT ADELA

Raina felt her chest collapse.

“That’s impossible. Adela was an intern. She worked here.”

“No,” the Red Nurse said softly.
“She was never staff. She was a patient.”

Ferdi nearly dropped the camera.
“WHAT?!”

Raina shook her head violently.
“No. No! She told me about her shifts, her patients, her schedule—”

The nurse stepped closer.

“The entity mimics memories. Voices. Emotions.
You haven’t spoken to your real sister in years.”

Raina dropped to her knees.

“No… no… that can’t…”

The Red Nurse placed a gentle, ice-cold hand on her shoulder.

“Your sister has been trapped since the night she was taken.”

Ferdi whispered, pale as bone:
“Then where’s the real Adela?”

The Red Nurse looked into the hallway of darkness.

“Still here. But not whole.”

CHAPTER 14 — THE HIDDEN LAB

The Red Nurse led them to a massive steel door. She pushed it open with unnatural ease.

Inside—rows of tanks, tubes, medical tools older than decades.

And floating in one of the tanks…

A girl.

Raina approached slowly.
Same hair. Same face. Same fragile frame.

“Adela…” she choked.

The Red Nurse bowed her head.

“This is her real body.
She never left this room.”

Ferdi covered his mouth.
“Then that thing chasing us—”

“—is not your sister,” the nurse finished.

Raina pressed her palm to the glass.

“Adela… I’m so sorry…”

Suddenly, Adela’s eyes snapped open—

glowing white.

CHAPTER 15 — THE WRONG AWAKENING

The tank vibrated violently. The water churned. Tubes ripped from their sockets.

Ferdi backed away. “NOPE. RA—WE’RE LEAVING NOW!”

Adela’s mouth opened—

Far too wide.

A distorted, layered shriek tore through the room.

“AAAA—AaaAAHH—”

The tank shattered.

Water flooded the floor.

Adela—or what used to be Adela—crawled out, trembling, dripping, moving like a wounded creature.

Raina stepped forward.
“Adela…?”

The creature clung to her leg.

“K-kak… please… help me…”

Her voice was half human, half choked by something monstrous.

“I’m… cold…”

Raina cried. “I’m here. I’m right here…”

Adela raised her face.

And smiled.

Too wide.

Too wrong.

“And soon… you’ll join me.”

CHAPTER 16 — SPLIT SOULS

Walls shook. Lights blinked frantically.

The entity scrambled up the walls, contorting like a predatory animal.

The Red Nurse grabbed Raina.

“Listen! Entity Seven doesn’t just mimic victims—
it merges with them!”

Raina gasped. “You mean Adela is—”

“Bound to it.
If the entity dies, her last fragments vanish.”

Ferdi cursed.
“So we have to beat a monster without killing the monster?”

The entity shrieked again, hurling itself toward them.

CHAPTER 17 — THE RED NURSE'S CONFESSION

They ran, the hall trembling behind them.

“To the Stabilization Chamber!” the Red Nurse shouted.

Raina tugged her arm. “Why are you helping us?”

The nurse stopped suddenly.
For the first time, her face broke.

“Because this is my fault.”

Raina froze.

“I was the one who signed Adela’s name onto the experiment list.
I thought it was harmless testing.
The director lied to all of us.”

She trembled.
“I doomed your sister.”

Ferdi stared in horror.

A screech ripped through the corridor—guttural, layered.

The entity appeared, crawling on ceiling and walls at once.

It was every version of Adela flashing rapidly—little girl, crying teen, smiling adult, broken patient.

“They’re coming again,” Ferdi whispered.

CHAPTER 18 — THE SEPARATION MACHINE

They burst into a massive chamber filled with coils and bright screens.

A capsule-like device stood at the center.

The Red Nurse switched it on.

“This machine was meant to separate fractured identities…
but forced to maximum, it can split spirits.”

Raina looked straight at her.

“Put me in.”

Ferdi almost screamed. “NO. NO WAY. YOU’LL DIE!”

“Adela’s soul is tied to mine,” Raina whispered.
“She calls to me. The entity wants me as a new host.”

She wiped her tears.

“If I go inside… I can pull it away from her.”

The entity screeched, racing toward them.

The Red Nurse nodded slowly.
“You’re just like your sister. Stubborn.”

Raina gave a faint smile.

“I’m her sister.”

CHAPTER 19 — RIP APART OR DIE TOGETHER

Raina stepped inside. The capsule sealed.

Lights surged around her.

Ferdi slammed the activation key with shaking hands.
“Rai… please come back…”

The entity crashed onto the capsule, claws carving deep lines into the metal.

“YOU BELONG TO ME!” it roared.

Raina closed her eyes.
“Adela… I’m here…”

The Red Nurse’s voice echoed,
“It’s working! The entity is splitting!”

From the hallway, a frail girl crawled out.

Adela.

The real Adela. Weak. Pale. Alive.

“Kak… don’t… he’ll take you too…”

Raina smiled inside the blinding capsule light.

“I’d rather lose myself than lose you.”

The machine hit maximum output.

A blinding explosion of white light engulfed the chamber.

Metal shattered.

Screams layered into one horrific thunder.

And when the light finally dimmed…

Two bodies lay on the ground.

Raina.
And Adela.

Separate.

Alive.

Silent.

CHAPTER 20 — BIG TWIST: WHAT RETURNS IS NOT ONE

Raina gasped awake.

Ferdi ran to her sobbing. “Raina! You’re alive!”

Adela lifted her head slowly, her face clean—no distortions, no entity.

“Kak… I feel free…”

Raina embraced her tightly.
“You’re really back…”

The Red Nurse smiled sadly.
“It worked… the entity is—”

She stopped.

Ferdi froze.
“Why did you stop?”

The nurse’s face changed.

“Two bodies… alive…”
She stared at the floor.
“But their shadows…”

Raina and Adela followed her gaze.

Their shadows on the floor—

were not matching their movements.

The shadows began to move on their own.

Raina’s shadow lifted its head…

Adela’s shadow laughed softly…

Then the two shadows held hands.

Their voices layered and echoed:

“Separated doesn’t mean gone.”
“We only needed a better vessel.”

Ferdi screamed.

Lights died instantly—

Pitch black.

The entity wasn’t destroyed.
It had multiplied.
