PART 1 THE SEVENTH CORRIDOR
The Seventh Corridor of Bahtera Hospital
PROLOGUE
Night pressed heavily over Bahtera Hospital—once a proud monument of healing, now a decaying corpse of concrete and rust. The building stood silent, abandoned, but not empty. Never empty.
Somewhere inside, something moved.
Not a person.
Not an animal.
Something older.
Something hungry.
A corridor that never appeared on any official blueprint breathed in the darkness.
The Seventh Corridor.
A place that shouldn’t exist.
A place only revealed to those it chose.
And tonight, it whispered a name.
“Raina… come back. Your story isn’t finished.”
The whisper slid through the halls like wet flesh dragged across the tiles.
Like someone she once loved.
Like someone she left behind.
In the dark, a pair of inhuman eyes opened—watching the hospital’s front door creak inward.
Not pushed.
Inviting.
And somewhere deep inside, Bahtera Hospital inhaled.
Tonight, it would feed again.
CHAPTER 1 — THE DOOR THAT SHOULDN’T OPEN
Raina stared at the abandoned hospital from the parking lot. Even from here, she could smell the rot—metal, mold, and something else. Something like old blood.
“You’re really doing this?” Ferdi asked. He held a camera, hands trembling, trying to mask fear with bravado.
“I’m not here to play,” Raina said. “I need answers.”
“Raina… this is the place where your—”
“My sister disappeared,” she snapped.
Silence.
Five years ago, her younger sister Adela vanished during her nursing internship. No CCTV. No reports. No records.
The hospital staff claimed she was never registered.
But Raina knew the truth.
She was there. She saw Adela walk inside.
“Record everything,” Raina ordered.
Ferdi gulped. “Are we… safe?”
Raina gave a thin smile.
“Safe? No. That’s why we’re going in.”
As soon as they stepped inside, the front door slammed shut behind them with a thunderous echo.
Ferdi jumped.
“Ra… that was the wind, right?”
Raina didn’t respond.
A faint dragging sound echoed down the main hallway.
As if something had been waiting.
CHAPTER 2 — THE MISSING BLUEPRINT
The reception desk looked frozen in time. Papers strewn like someone fled mid-task. Computers shattered. Dried footprints on the floor.
Raina unfolded the old investigation map.
“See?” she pointed. “Six corridors. Only six.”
Ferdi’s flashlight swept across the dusty wall.
Then he froze.
“Raina… look.”
A faded rectangle.
The outline of something that once hung there.
A sign.
Raina brushed dust away with her sleeve.
Letters emerged—faint, decayed:
C O R R I D O R 7
Ferdi stepped back.
“No way. No freaking way—”
Raina stared, pulse hammering.
“If it wasn’t on the blueprint… someone erased it.”
A whisper rose behind the reception desk.
“Don’t… look…”
Ferdi’s flashlight clattered to the floor.
They spun around.
Nothing.
Only the cold.
Only the shadows.
Only something watching.
CHAPTER 3 — THE FACELESS NURSE
They moved through the hospital.
Corridor 1… empty.
Corridor 2… the smell of chemicals.
Corridor 3… a metal bed screeched across the tiles on its own.
In Corridor 4, they stopped.
A nurse stood at the far end.
White uniform.
Long black hair.
Motionless.
But her face was blurred, like fog trapped under skin.
“NOPE—NOPE—NOPE—” Ferdi hissed, backing away.
The nurse lifted a hand.
Slow.
Deliberate.
A beckoning gesture.
Raina swallowed hard.
That gesture…
Adela used to call her that way when they were kids.
“Adela…?” Raina whispered.
The faceless nurse tilted her head at an unnatural angle, then pointed left.
Toward a corridor that had no label.
And then she vanished.
CHAPTER 4 — A CORRIDOR THAT REVEALS ITSELF
The Seventh Corridor wasn’t like the others.
Damp.
Warped.
Breathing, almost.
“Raina… we don’t belong here,” Ferdi whispered.
“We weren’t invited,” she said. “We were chosen.”
They walked in.
One by one, lights flickered on—POP… POP… POP—illuminating the impossible hallway.
A door buzzed at the end.
An emergency room door.
Its alarm rang without being touched.
“Adela used to talk about a patient,” Raina muttered.
“Patient Number 07. Always missing at night.”
Ferdi rubbed his arms.
“And you tell me now?”
Raina didn’t answer.
Behind them, footsteps echoed.
Slow.
Heavy.
Too close.
But no one was there.
CHAPTER 5 — OPERATING ROOM 07
The door swung open.
Cold green lights flickered.
The operating table was stained with old, dried blood. The smell of metal and rot clung to the air.
A monitor turned on by itself, glitching, repeating:
“DO NOT LET IT OUT.”
Raina approached another screen.
A grainy CCTV video played.
A young nurse running.
Terrified.
Screaming.
Ferdi whispered, “Raina… look at her.”
Raina’s legs buckled.
Adela.
Her sister sprinted past the camera, yelling:
“THE SEVENTH CORRIDOR IS A LIE! THEY—”
The footage cut out.
The room darkened.
A slithering sound crawled beneath the metal table.
A voice oozed from the floor:
“Raina… welcome back.”
CHAPTER 6 — THE HAND UNDER THE TABLE
Ferdi steadied his shaking camera.
Something moved.
Fast.
Under the table.
“Raina… something’s crawling!”
Raina froze.
A pale hand emerged.
Then another.
Then a distorted face—if it could even be called a face.
It screeched and lunged.
Ferdi screamed.
Raina grabbed him, dragging him out of the room.
The door slammed behind them.
SCRAAAAAAAAATCH.
Nails—or claws—raked the metal from the inside.
Ferdi sobbed. “Why is this place still alive?”
Raina whispered, “Because something… never left.”
CHAPTER 7 — THE MISSING FILES
In the archives room, drawers were ripped open like beasts had ransacked them.
Raina pulled a file with shaking hands:
“Experiment Subject 07 – Unstable.”
Her stomach turned.
“Experiment? They experimented on patients?”
Ferdi found another document.
“If trainee nurses hear Seventh Corridor voices, evacuate immediately. Entity 07 can mimic human vocal patterns.”
Raina froze.
“Adela… she told me she heard voices. I thought she was exhausted.”
Ferdi stepped back, horrified.
“Raina… if that thing can mimic humans…”
Raina whispered, voice cracking:
“Then the voice calling me back… wasn’t Adela.”
The lights went out.
Breathing—slow, heavy—echoed behind them.
CHAPTER 8 — THE MAN WITHOUT EYES
They turned.
A security guard stood there.
Head bowed.
Uniform torn.
“Sir?” Raina asked.
Silence.
Ferdi stepped closer. “Are you the last staff here?”
The man lifted his head.
Where eyes should be…
only torn flesh.
He spoke in a low, gravelly voice:
“You’re too late. It already took your sister.”
Raina’s knees weakened.
The eyeless guard sprinted toward them with inhuman speed.
The corridor warped, walls stretching like rubber.
Raina heard a whisper under the chaos:
“Sister… help me…”
Her sister’s voice.
Or something wearing it.
CHAPTER 9 — ISOLATION ROOM 07
The voice led them to a door sealed with heavy locks.
Bold red letters said:
“ISOLATION 07 — DO NOT OPEN”
Ferdi shook his head violently.
“No. No chance we open that.”
But the voice returned.
“Please… I’m here…”
Raina ripped the locks open.
The room was small, suffocatingly dark.
A single metal chair sat in the center.
And tied to it was—
Adela.
Thin.
Pale.
Crying.
“Kak… you finally came…”
Raina ran to her.
Held her.
Sobs shaking her body.
Ferdi stayed at the door, uneasy.
“Raina… something’s wrong. She’s too cold. Too still.”
Adela whispered, “Untie me…”
Raina reached for the rope.
Ferdi screamed:
“RAIN A STOP—SHE HAS NO SHADOW!”
Raina froze.
Adela lifted her head.
Her eyes turned pitch-black.
“I warned you… never come back.”
CHAPTER 10 — WHAT WE’VE SET FREE
Adela—or what wore Adela’s skin—stood.
Bones creaked.
Limbs twisted backward.
Her voice dropped into a monstrous, layered growl.
“Thanks to you… I’m free again.”
Ferdi pounded on the locked door.
“LET US OUT! LET US OUT!”
The creature climbed the wall like a spider, body bending unnaturally.
Raina backed away, trembling.
“Where is my sister?” she whispered.
The creature smiled—too wide.
Too sharp.
“She died here,” it hissed.
“A long time ago.”
Raina’s heart shattered.
“All that’s left… is ME.”
It shrieked, a sound that cracked the lights.
Darkness swallowed the room.
Footsteps—soft, deliberate—approached them from the ceiling.
Raina grabbed Ferdi’s hand.
“If we die here… let the world know,” she said, staring into the camera lens.
“The Seventh Corridor is real.”
The creature dropped toward them—
And everything went black.
